Another month gone by. During July we devoted a post to the Rio de Janeiro subway and to the the São Paulo subway.

We commented on how expensive Brazil has become in recent months in Mighty real.

We began a detailed tour of Florianópolis with Florianópolis North: what to do and where to go.

We learned that Air China is no longer flying Madrid – São Paulo. And read about new new flights to/from Australia.

We mentioned the unfortunate fate of scores of penguins that are appearing along strecthes of the northeastern coast of Brazil: Penguins in Brazil.

We began a series with videos by the artists featured on the entry Top 10: Brazilian music (B-sides). We saw performances by Antonio Nóbrega, Chico César and Davi Moraes.

On the Brazil in Pictures section we saw photographs of Fortaleza from the air, of boatmen and their vessels and of the Brazilian Kinkaku-ji temple.

There was a reminder about the Tanabata Matsuri 2008, that took place in São Paulo at the beginning of July.

And finally, we introduced a new page, the tag cloud, incredibly helpful when it comes to searching info on the blog.
