Alter do Chão, Brazil

We began July with a reminder of the celebration of the always beautiful Tanabata Matsuri festival in São Paulo.

We gave a word of warning about the winter fog that often force airports to halt their operations this time of the year. If you are landing in São Paulo early in the morning during this time of the year be prepared.

You no longer need a a translation of your driving licence when renting a car.

We launched a new project, devoted entirely to the World Cup Brazil 2014. Our intention with the project is to help you make the most of Brazil during the World Cup. To begin with, we wondered whether Brazil could learn from the mistakes of South Africa 2010 in time for the 2014 World Cup.

The map of Curitiba is another addition to our list of resources on the beautiful capital of the state of Paraná. We also published all you need to know about the Linha Turismo, Curitiba’s hop-on hop-off bus.

We went to the Amazon and discovered the perfect destination for those after an Amazon experience: destination: Alter do Chão and the river Tapajós. There will be plenty of new blog posts on the coming weeks detailing our Amazon adventure.

We visited Batman’s alley,an extraordinary place in the city of São Paulo, a mecca for street art lovers.

To finish the month, we published our special report on the 2010 Brazilian F1 Grand Prix at Interlagos.

Have a great month of August everyone.
