photos of Curitiba and Morretes
We have just completed uploading our extense Flickr albums devoted to Curitiba and to Morretes and the Paranagua railway journey.
The fantastic Museu Niemeyer gets special attention in the album.
The delightful silhouettes of the greenhouse at the Botanic Gardens also feature prominently.
Traces of European colonization can be seen at the Bosque Alemão and the Memorial Ucraniano.
What an incredible building the Ópera de Arame is!
Walking through the Universidade Livre do Meio Ambiente one can easily forget it is in the middle of one of the biggest Brazilian cities.
Curitiba doesn’t lack for beautiful parks, such as the Parque Tanguá or the Bosque do Papa.
The buildings at its historic centre are worth a detailed look.
And how about the unexpected Arab presence in Curitiba?
Difficult to forget the awesome views of the city from the top of the Torre Panorâmica.
Time to take the train down the tropical rainforest.
And stroll around the delightful village of Morretes.
