Brasilia: 100 rainless days

catedral metropolitana, Brasilia

The story is from the Folha de São Paulo newspaper: the Brazilian capital hasn’t seen any rainfall for 100 days now. At destination: Brasilia, our main blog post on the Brazilian capital, we gave the following warning:

There is hardly any rain in Brasilia between May and September. Heat can be high and relative humidty reach extreme low values. Due to the lack of rain, the vegetation turns yellow. We advice you to avoid Brasilia during the period between May and September.

Take this blog post as a reminder. Make sure you chooose correclty the dates of your trip to Brasilia. Low humidity levels (10 or 15% are not uncommon) don’t make for a pleasing traveling experience.
