It is on the news: Argentina’s Aerolíneas Argentinas has requested permission from the Brazilian civil aviation authorities to operate two direct flights: one flight from Buenos Aires to Salvador de Bahia and another one from Buenos Aires to Porto Seguro, both destinations on the Brazilian state of Bahia. The flights heading for Salvador would operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays while the ones heading for Porto Seguro would do so on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.

The flights would start in December and chances are they will only go until the end of the high season in the southern hemisphere. At last the state of Bahia will get a couple of direct flights from a South American neighbour.
