Tam has just announced a new direct flight between Rio de Janeiro (Tom Jobim / Galeão international airport) and Montevideo. It will be a daily flight, taking off for the first time on 15 November. An A320 will be used on the route.

The flight will take off from Montevideo at 18:30, landing in Rio at 21:07. The departing time for the return flight is not as good, as the flight will leave from Rio at 7:45 (which means passengers will have to be at the airport at 5:45, having to leave their hotel at around 5 am), arriving in Montevideo at 10:50.

The company flies three times a day between São Paulo and Montevideo.

One step at a time, the empty spaces left by Pluna are being filled.
