Air Canada to fly to Rio de Janeiro

Air Canada’s commercial director for Brazil announced recently that in 2014 the airline intends to operate regular flights to the Tom Jobim / Galeão International airport in Rio de Janeiro.

Yet another international route being announced on the eve of the 2014 Soccer World Cup while at the same time keeping an eye on the never-decreasing thirst of the Brazilian domestic market for international destinations for their holidays.

Air Canada flies from Toronto to Guarulhos International airport in São Paulo and from October 2013 it will use a Boeing 777 on the route.
