Hi, Stan, you won't find dairy products at the sacolão (they are on sale in small shops nearby), the sacolão is devoted to fruits and vegetables. The fruits and vegetables have no packaging at all, you simply put them on a plastic bag, and that's it.

Hi William, Praia da Daniela is on the north west of the island, right next to mega-trendy Praia do Jurerê (where the rich have their mansions). Daniela is a quiet beach, 3km long, quite good for families with kids.

I'm very interested in the socalao and how dairy products are sold. Do they have very attractive packaging? Or are they the same dull stuff that we have in the U.S.?

Thanks Adam. It takes some time to prepare the calendars, but right from the beginning of my blogging adventure I thought it would be a nice thing to give to my readers.

Hey Tony,

Great feature, by the way. I've been looking for a good looking Brazilian calendar for a long time and I always forget to buy one while in Brazil.

Cheers

Hi Lucy, you can check that info out yourself at the link I've given above (Litorânea) for the exact date of your trip. At Origem choose Parati, at Destino choose São Paulo, provide the date of your trip, and there you go. On the results page, Saída means departure.

The trip takes around six hours.
